Description
Locksmith tool for opening German BASI K10 locks.
It is recommended to use sheet foil with a thickness of 0.05 mm.
Texi in the video: This is BASI. The K10 series.
There's the K10 and the K10SP. The SP is simply a reinforced cylinder that prevents breakage. The K10 and K10SP are essentially the same thing.
It looks like this. Two rows of active pins. The top ones are passive, the side ones are passive.
Basically, four rows of pins. Two active pins and the top side ones are passive. These are the keys.
With an interactive element. A tool.
Also with an interactive element. 0.05 mm foil as the main foil. 0.06 and 0.07 mm are also possible, of course. But in principle, you can always use 0.05 mm. I think you don`t need any other.
Cut off strips. The width should be slightly smaller than the key. Or the width of the key, or slightly smaller.
On the reverse side, shape the foil. You can simply use your fingers, or a plastic card.
And it's advisable to smooth it all out very well. A card is, of course, better so that nothing sticks out anywhere. Then onto the working part.
Once again, I remind you, to smooth the nose well. And we try to make sure the foil doesn't tear when inserting the tool. We rock it left and right and then up and down.
I mainly tighten it left and then up and down. You need to smooth it down well, because the tool fits tightly. It's a good idea to look underneath when inserting the tool.
Because if it tears even just a little, and it's not noticeable, the lock won't open because the foil has torn somewhere. So, you have to be careful with that. Overall, everything works very well.
Foil 0.05 mm. The price for the tool will be on the website.
