Text in the video: Hi. These are M&C cylinders. Two models: Color Plus and Color Minus. They look almost identical. The keys have the same profile. The wave is different for each. This is a tool with a universal wave. The foil used for opening is 0.08 mm, but 0.07 will do as well. I'll use 0.08. Since the wave is universal, these cylinders are rotated by force. A lock that has already been opened opens easily right away. But if it's the first time it's opened, we have this much play. We work until the play doubles. Then we give a sharp tug or forcefully turn the lock. You can work left and right, or more often, pull left and up and down. We wait until there's more play. Well, this lock turns almost immediately and quite quickly, because it has already been opened before. Although you do need a little force, So, the tool is basically half force-assisted. You can try different foils. It could be 0.07 mm or even 0.06 mm, but I think 0.08 mm will be the main foil to use. If the lock is being opened for the first time, you’ll first get a large amount of play, and after that you’ll need to break it loose. If it’s the second opening, like this one, it opens immediately. You don’t need to cut the foil strips too wide. About half the length of a key is enough. As you can see, this is how it holds right now. Then we can either give it a sharp jerk or simply apply more force and turn the lock. That’s basically how it works. The opening success rate is very high — practically 100%.
