Text in the first video: Hello! Another Spanish lock, STS-ARCU, CS5. The key appears to be double-row, but the top pins are inactive, so we only apply foil to the bottom of the impression, the working side. We don't apply foil to the top. This is what the keyholes look like. It's the same lock, it just looks different, but it's the same. The keys are the same. We use thick foil, 0.08 mm. By the way, foil is now available, pre-cut and in strips. Currently, only 0.08 mm, but eventually, all sizes and thicknesses will be available. Currently, only 0.08 mm, packaged in 50-piece bags. The price for this foil will be on the website. Other types of foil and pre-cut foil, in sheets and packs, are still available. The strip is 4 mm wide. The strip is 10 cm long. Convenient, very convenient for double-row locks. Easy to wrap. Wrap it and that's it. If it's like our STS cylinder, we'll lay the foil on one side. Simply cut it in half. This is exactly for two openings. Now we'll install the lock. As usual, we lay the foil on its edge first to give it shape. Fold it slightly over the nose, giving it shape. This is essential, and then we transfer it to the working part. By the way, for those who like to rock it up and down, rocking it can sometimes be very helpful; it can open it faster. Or sometimes, when the lock opens, it only turns in one direction. For example, it turns left and locks to the right. But this can happen with any lock. Then you can press down like this, rock it, and it will slip through and start turning. But you have to do this very carefully, because even if it's strong metal, rocking it up and down like this is essentially just breaking it. You take it by force. So, you have to do it with a very small amplitude and very carefully, otherwise the impression will simply break. Basically, only 0.08 mm foil. Softer foil can't withstand this. It gets pressed through on high pins. And one more thing regarding the impression tool for ARCU/STS: Let's try a closer look. I'll unscrew the handle now, and here we have the working part. And here we have the side rib, can you see it? Here's the side rib. If you take a file and file down this side rib, like on this impression tool... it's filed down, even less than a millimeter, it's a very small rib, and the impression starts to wobble and move more in the lock. Consequently, the speed of opening locks doubles. That is, they open much faster, but at the same time, the impression loses stability. This means it can jam more, for example, if it turns twice and gets stuck, or it turns to the right, doesn't turn to the left, and so on. So, the speed increases, but the stability decreases. So, just so you know, if anyone wants to speed up the opening process, you take a file, and just file down that small side rib. If anyone wants to... The price for the Impression will be on the website. Bye.

Text in the 2nd video: These are Spanish cylinders - Arcu, STS CS 5. There are active pins only from the bottom, so we use foil only for the bottom. I use foil number 8 (08 mm). To take thinner, I think it makes no sense. This cylinder opens perfectly, both to the right and to the left. And here is another cylinder that opens only to the left for some reason... So now I will try to open it again. Why it comes off only to the left, but does not spin to the right, I can’t tell you, because I myself can’t understand this. Maybe it's because of the misalignment of the pins. We put the foil on the edge first to give shape. Such a situation, when the lock rotates in one direction and does not rotate in the other, when opening with foil, this can generally happen with different cylinders. When this happens, you can just make a tilt, and wobble a little like this, up and down, a little bit, so as not to bend or break. Sometimes it helps, but not always. Well, it's spinning to the left. To the right does not want to spin, even with a stagger. Well, it happens. And right away I want to show on the impression, here is the working part, and here is a small side rib. If you take a file and grind off this side edge, then the opening speed will double. This will happen because the tool will begin to feel freer in the cylinder, there will be more dangling. But at the same time, the stability of work will decrease, that is, it will seize more. Therefore, I leave you the opportunity to grind off this rib, if you have a desire. The price of the tool will be on the website, the link and phone number are under the video.
